We are now looking for a Network Technician for a long-term assignment at the Public Health Agency of Sweden.

The assignment includes providing advice on future network architecture and developing design proposals. We expect you to be confident in your knowledge and experience and have a well-developed ability to collaborate and advise between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

You have experience in operational work within the field of networking and related areas in complex IT environments. The assignment spans a wide range from pure configuration of firewalls to investigating current designs and reviewing design proposals.

To be considered for the role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Very good knowledge of network and firewall design
• Very good knowledge of IPS
• Extensive experience working in operational environments with high security requirements.
• Very good knowledge of routing
• Very good knowledge of switches and wifi (Aruba)
• Very good knowledge of firewall configuration within the Fortinet suite
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

You are systematic, meticulous, and analytical, with a deep understanding of regulatory compliance.

Extent: Full-time 100% (part-time 80% is also possible) Start: 2025-04-01 Location: Solna (Possibility for remote work up to 40% of the working time)

This position is security classified, and you must undergo a security classification with an interview and background check via SÄPO before you can start any employment or assignment.
